Description
First up in this series of keg-only sours inspired by our shared love of food and travel is Bokor Hill; a beer inspired by Cambodian cuisine, named after a famously bizarre abandoned hill station in Kampot (Google it). Bokor Hill is a 4.4% kettle sour infused with citrusy lime zest, liquoricey royal basil, and tingly Kampot peppercorn. Despite the ingredients, the beer is very approachable, not overly sour. The herbal additions are pleasingly subtle, giving front stage to the tangy lime, while the basil and peppercorn play the rhythm section underneath.
