Description
Beer lovers have the chance to acquire a unique piece of bottled brewing history. Truman’s is releasing a strictly limited quantity of London Keeper - an 8% ABV Double Export Stout, originally brewed in celebration of its new home in Hackney Wick. The beer pours a gorgeous midnight black, with aromas of toasted nuts and dark chocolate - delivering an explosion of crunchy, malty flavours with background notes of liquorice, black treacle and dried fruits. The malty sweetness is balanced with a delicious lick of hop bitterness. This explosion of flavour is absolutely prefect to drink alongside your Christmas pudding, with your chocolate yule log and would even make a great digestif to accompany a conversation with your nearest and dearest late into the night over that Christmas blue cheese. Bottle conditioned and aged for over 3 years, London Keeper will continue to improve and develop in flavour for up to a decade, making this not only the perfect gift but also a fantastic piece of history marking the next great chapter of Truman’s. Beer writer, Pete Brown, described it as “a silky, chocolatey, vinous essential for Christmas Day. Look out for it. Put it on your present wish list. In fact, mug, steal or blackmail to get it if you must.”
