When we heard @cheftombarnes was opening his first restaurant in Manchester @skof_manchester and wanted to do a beer, we knew we had to make something special.
Knowing the philosophy behind Toms food, we wanted to source the most local ingredients that we could to produce a crisp, refreshing Lager. We took a trip over to our nearest maltsters, @fawcettmaltofficial and chose a speciality malt called Halcyon, which is only grown at the Fawcetts Farm. We then partnered that with a beautiful varietal of UK cascade.
The result is a bright, refreshing lager with light citrus tones and rounded malt body.
