Description
We brewed this dark Brown Ale to celebrate the new year. Lightly hopped with Ekuanot and Amarillo, this brown ale is brewed using Pale, Amber, Biscuit, Cara Red, Chocolate, Crystal and wheat to give a caramel flavor and chestnut colour (ABV 5.5%). Malts: Pale, Amber, Biscuit, Cara Red, Chocolate, Crystal and wheat Hops: Amarillo, Ekuanot, Northern Brewer "Gioele #2 pours very dark mahogany with ruby reflections, very thin carbonation, weak slightly creamy head. Caramel malts, sticky toffee notes, americano coffee, some red berries sourness, some mature banana, British hops fruity notes. Very drinkable, smooth sweet caramel, easy mouthfeel, bitter sweet nutty character, some sweet biscuit malt coming, fruity english hop, nice not too bitter finish" (Gabriele Bertucci, beer sommelier)
