Shortcake Sour. Shorty is a strawberry and passionfruit shortcake sour brewed in collaboration with ice cream sandwich legends Happy Endings to celebrate our 8th year of brewing!

Reinventing the way desserts are experienced. Happy Endings have been dominating London’s ice cream sandwich scene since 2014. Combining modern and traditional techniques to create treats bold in flavour with the perfect balance of sweet, savoury and texture.

Shorty is inspired by their strawberry shorty ice cream sando, with layers of biscuit from the malt, lashings of strawberry and passionfruit, and a kick of vanilla for an amped-up fantastically fruity sour.

We tweaked our base sour by adding rolled oats plus Crystal, Vienna and Melanoidin malts for that biscuit base flavour. We added a (quite frankly) ridiculous amount of strawberry and passionfruit purée (20% of every can) to lock in plenty of fruity goodness. A drizzle of Heilala vanilla turns this summertime wonder into a drinkable ice cream sandwich dream.
