Description
As ever with Nomad, we've put together different hops that have almost certainly never been used in a cask ale before. For this batch, the hops are Huell Melon & Mandarina Bavaria.
These hops were part of a wave of experimentation by German hop growers to create new styles away from the noble hops they're best known for. Related to Cascade, both hops were released at the same time in 2012. Both are known as fruity and citric, perfect for cask pale ale. To this end expect gooseberry, melon, orange and tangerine notes, along with a quenching bitterness.
