Description
Ploughman Poet is Loch Leven Brewery's take on a ordinary English bitter. The flavour and body of this beer does not betray it's relatively low ABV. Hop bitterness and malt sweetness balance perfectly and along with a slight hint of spice from the addition of a specialty malt the taste and depth are unmatched. The nose is of malt, traditional British hops and a touch of ester from a slightly elevated fermentation temperature.
