Description
The earliest known record of Leigh-on-Sea is in the Domesday Book of 1086, when it was known as Legra and valued at 100 shillings. As our first beer we wanted to dedicate to our home town of Leigh on Sea. Now our best selling beer Legra is a well hopped modern pale ale, brewed with single hopped Citra in the boil, then dry hopped with lashings more of the same for a citrus flavoured session ale with a well-balanced bitter finish. Awarded SIBA East Gold as best cask session IPA, as well as SIBA East Gold on keg and Silver in the overall national competition.
