Stone Daisy

Stone Daisy takes its name from the medieval ‘witch marks’ carved into the stone of our buildings. Their purpose is to ward off evil spirits. And like many witch marks, our ancient carvings take the form of a hexafoil or ‘daisy wheel’. Which is why we’re called Stone Daisy.

Stone Daisy is a relatively new brewery but comes with almost 2 decades of brewing knowledge and experience hence we have already won 2 golds and 1 silver in the Taste of the West (the largest independent regional food group in the UK) best beer awards.
All the core ingredients used to produce our range of beers are found on our doorstep here on the Fonthill Estate.
The pure water from right under our feet is naturally filtered through limestone rock, and the golden barley comes from the surrounding fields.
The barley is malted using time-honoured methods, all by hand, at Britain’s oldest working malt house in the nearby Wiltshire town of Warminster.
All names of our ales are of locations based here in Fonthill.
