Established in 2004 by Robert Wicks, the Westerham Brewery Company is a family-owned brewery proud to bring brewing back to the historic town of Westerham, Kent. In our state of the art brewhouse we produce an array of multi-award winning beers across a range of styles. From juicy New England IPAs and triple chocolate stouts to SIBA Gold award-winning lagers and creamy Nitro’s. The majority of our range is certified gluten-free and the entire range is vegan-friendly.
We use greensand filtered water from our 90m deep borehole, locally sourced hops, fresh milled malted barley and heritage yeast to make great beer sustainably.
Producing exceptional craft beer for the local market, we support the initiative to reduce food miles in the supply chain. Many ‘national brands’ are transported long distances and suffer from poor storage and handling.
Westerham Brewery Company has revived many of the much-loved flavours of the old Black Eagle Brewery, which closed in 1965 following the catastrophic consolidation by the ‘Big Brewers’ in the 1950’s.
