Chester Beer Company

Cheshire

Chesters is a low-intervention brewer that makes beer using fresh water, malted grain, whole leaf hops, and nothing else.

Our beer is made in tiny batches, typically less than 650 litres. We are hobo brewers working with other small craft brewers' on equipment that would otherwise go unused on our brew days. We brew with organic grain and whole leaf hops, supplemented with excess stocks that might otherwise go to waste.

Chester Beer's style is guided by the low-intervention principles of simplicity and natural balance. All our beers are conditioned in the container they are served from: cask, keg, bottle or can.

We brew a selection of sessionable light and dark beers. The commonality between them is found in the techniques we use to accentuate hop flavour and aroma, while building complex body and satisfying mouth feel with intricate layering of malts.
