Founded in 1876 when co-owners Leon and Percival landed on Earth in an attempt to stop moving; The Meanwood Brewery IS. Needless to say, they were successful – unlike the brewery. More than a century ahead of its time it took the advent of craft beer to contextualise their visionary flavours.
The Meanwood Brewery is more of a colour than a brewery. More of a sound than a profit-making business. More a feeling than a legitimate employer. More a lifestyle than a way to fund a life. Stronger than steel yet malleable like spaghetti. Their aim is to channel beer from another realm through a dada musico-comedical portal, straight from somewhere else and into your mouth hole.
Their current HQ and eventual launch point back into the cosmos when the Terran project fails also accommodates a tap room and bottle shop known only as Terminus Tap Room & Bottle Shop. The bar and brewery cunningly disguises the ship that Leon & Percival originally crashed in beneath it - safe and out of sight whilst they make repairs and await the call back to the stars.
