Moonwake: “the moon’s reflection on a body of water” speaks to the brewery’s Leith Shore location, the importance of water as an ingredient and their beers’ reflection of their combined experience. They brew with mindful intent to create balanced beers for a wide range of people to enjoy. They believe there is a beer out there for everyone.
Moonwake Beer Co. Is an award-winning brewery established in 2021. Their co-founders chose The Shore in Leith, Edinburgh for their brewery as they had longed to venture out on their own and move to Edinburgh, specifically Leith. They love Leith’s sense of community and industrial past.
They started their beer careers on opposite sides of the world, Vinny in New Zealand and Fin in the UK. They bring over a decade of collective experience in brewing to Moonwake, for both of them brewing is their creative outlet.
Their first priority was growing an excellent and valued team, all of whom have years of experience in sales, marketing, events and hospitality.
