Home Ales
Surrey
For over 115 years Home Ales brewed some of England’s best loved beers. Brands like Robin Hood pale ale, Little John ale and Friar Tuck stout were enjoyed by drinkers across the Midlands. The Home Ales name disappeared in the 1990s, but now we are back and committed to making great beer for everyone to enjoy.
We are a few friends who love beer, really love beer; and who were brought up in the shadows of the old Brewery in Daybrook. One day we would love to be closer to our roots, but for now we are working tirelessly with the head brewer at Oldershaws, a Grantham based brewery, to bring Home Ales to life again. We have crafted a range of beers that takes all the history and ingredients of Home Ales beers and given them a modern twist. It’s not the old recipes, it’s new beer crafted for today’s drinkers; using top quality hops and malt.
