We live in one of the Old Whiteways Cider Orchards, near Whimple, Devon. The Old Cider Orchard was planted by Whiteways around 100 years ago. They used an interesting & wide variety of apples chosen to make a fine blend of cider. As a small Family run business, we are passionate about Apples and everything 'Apple' related. We strive to create the very best products using Apples grown from our own Traditional West Country Cider Orchard. Everything is natural, we don't spray our trees or use fertilisers, letting biodiversity do the job for us! Our Apples are grown, picked, pressed and bottles all in the same location. You cant get fresher than that. After 10 years of making award winning Cider, we wanted to expand our range and create more drinks that could compliment our range. Around roughly 2 years ago, we created The Exe Gin. We drew inspiration from our surroundings and the beautiful scenery of The Exe Valley, running from deepest darkest Exmoor to Exmouth. The wildlife and picturesque beauty of this area inspired the bottle design and flavours. The name, celebrates and pays homage to the Exe Valley. New to this year is our Black Cat Honey Spiced Rum. We have our own hives on Exmoor where our honey is made to infuse our Rum. All the bees within our Hives are Re-homed from Pest control clients.
