Formed in 2010, Cold Black Label initally focused on its eponymous Lager brand, but in 2013, branched out into cask ales, having these contract brewed at a number of Welsh Breweries.
In 2018, Cold Black Label acquired a 6 Bbl Brew House and
then merged with Brecon Brewing, meaning all beers could be brewed
in-house under the watchful eye of Brecon's Buster Grant. A new,
purpose-built brew-house will be constructed in 2019 to house the
Brecon Brewing equipment, the new bottling line and a Tap Room and
bottle-shop.
