The story of how the town bible was sold to buy a bear is spoken far and wide. Facing the wrath of the townspeople; the decision was made by the bear warden of 1632. You might ask yourself, what lead the warden to do such a thing? such brazen courage changed the town forever, leaving a special kind of legacy that lasts to this day. We here in Beartown may not be perfect, but we sure are capable of perfection.
